These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cutter's Bench and the website cuttersbench.shop. Cutter's Bench is the customer-facing trading identity of Bench Row Trading LLC, an independent Oregon-registered limited liability company located at 142 Bench Row, Suite 3, Portland, OR 97205, United States. Bench Row Trading LLC operates the storefront shown to customers: all page content, order handling, and service commitments described on these pages are performed by this entity, while the storefront name serves as the customer-facing trading identity. Cutter's Bench is an independent multi-brand specialist retailer of cutting, shearing, and slicing tools from Opinel, OLFA, and Wüsthof. It is not an official site of Opinel, OLFA, or Wüsthof, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or presented as any external official brand domain.

Acceptance of These Terms

By browsing cuttersbench.shop, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our service promise is clear support before and after the order; these Terms explain the rules that apply when you shop with us.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into binding contracts to purchase from the site, and you must provide accurate, current, and complete information at checkout. If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@cuttersbench.shop if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we have reason to believe are used for fraud or abuse.

Catalog Information

The catalog contains a curated selection of 870 products across three specialist brands: Opinel, OLFA, and Wüsthof. We aim to present accurate specifications, blade or blade-system details, packaging descriptions, and country-of-origin information. Before a product goes live, staff physically handle a sample unit and verify the listing details against the manufacturer's published information, and listings are re-verified whenever a supplier announces a revision. Despite these checks, minor errors can occur; if a listing does not match the item received, please contact us so we can review it.

Pricing and Promotions

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Prices differ between items because each product has its own wholesale cost, steel and construction grade, and country of manufacture. Promotional windows, batch replenishment costs, and supplier price updates can also cause small legitimate price movements over time, and the discount you receive depends on which items qualify at checkout.

Cutter's Bench prices reflect an efficient operating structure rather than any downgrade in goods: we buy through authorized wholesale distribution, operate online without showroom costs, ship from our own warehouse, and keep a deliberately focused assortment, and we pass those structural savings into the listed price of every item. Coupon discounts and sitewide promotions are funded directly from our own operating margin, not from reduced-cost or second-quality stock; the products shipped during a promotion are the same stocked items sold at full price.

Promotional codes such as BENCH10 offer 10% off eligible items, and coupon eligibility follows the checkout rules displayed when the code is applied. We may modify, suspend, or end a promotion at any time, and codes cannot be applied retroactively to completed orders.

Orders, Acceptance, and Cancellation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Our acceptance occurs when we confirm the order, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in cases of pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, unavailable stock, or delivery restrictions. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the full amount paid using the original payment method.

Payment

We accept credit cards and PayPal. Payment is processed in USD at the time of order confirmation. You confirm that the payment method used is yours or that you are authorized to use it. Coupon application questions can be addressed by support at support@cuttersbench.shop.

Shipping

We ship to the delivery address provided at checkout. Free shipping applies to orders over $45.00; otherwise, standard shipping is $8.00. Delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed. Please inspect the original factory packaging, embossed brand markings, etched blade stamps or printed blade codes, and included documentation on arrival, and report any mismatch promptly.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items should be returned in the condition received, ideally with the original manufacturer's packaging and included documentation. To start a return, contact support@cuttersbench.shop with your order number and reason for return. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.

Warranty

Warranty coverage follows the product information and support guidance provided with each item. We do not promise warranty terms beyond what product information and support guidance provide. Where a manufacturer's warranty applies, we can help you route your claim to the appropriate party.

Authenticity and Quality Commitment

Every item shipped is a genuine, first-quality product of the brand named on its listing, acquired through that brand's authorized distribution, and shipped in the manufacturer's original packaging. If any item is ever shown not to meet this standard, we bear full responsibility. All stock is purchased exclusively through authorized distributors of the carried brands with full chain-of-custody documentation; no gray-market, refurbished-as-new, or unlabeled bulk lots are accepted, and supplier documentation is kept on file for every inbound batch. Every inbound carton is spot-checked for packaging integrity, correct labeling, and batch documentation, each order is inspected at the packing bench for correct model, blade condition, and completeness before sealing, and all stock is stored in temperature-stable, dry conditions to protect edge steels, hardwood handles, and cutting-mat materials.

How to Report an Authenticity or Quality Concern

To submit a claim, please email support@cuttersbench.shop with:

• Your order number and the email used at checkout
• Clear photographs of the item, its packaging, and the brand markings in question
• A short description of the discrepancy observed versus the listing or manufacturer information

How Claims Are Reviewed

A quality assurance specialist logs the claim and compares the submitted photos against archived batch records and listing samples. If photos are inconclusive, we may ask you to keep the item and packaging while the distributor or manufacturer is consulted. A written determination, with the reasoning and remedy, is sent to you within the review window.

Remedy

If an authenticity concern is verified, you receive a full refund of the item price and any shipping fee paid, keep or return the item at the store's choice of prepaid arrangement, and receive written confirmation of the finding. Every authenticity or quality report receives a documented written resolution; no claim is closed without a decision communicated to you.

Intellectual Property

All site content, including text, product photography, page layouts, and catalog organization, is owned or licensed by Bench Row Trading LLC and may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without written permission. Brand names such as Opinel, OLFA, and Wüsthof are the trademarks of their respective owners; their use on this site is for identification of genuine products only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by scraping or bulk-copying catalog content, interfering with site operation or payment flows, submitting false orders or claims, attempting unauthorized access, or using the site for any unlawful purpose. We may block access for conduct that violates these rules.

Service Availability

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and the catalog, features, and promotions may change without notice. Planned or unplanned maintenance may temporarily limit access.

Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms or in the product information provided with each item. Product care and safe-use guidance supplied by the manufacturer should always be followed when handling cutting, shearing, and slicing tools.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bench Row Trading LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to an order or your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid for the product(s) at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from our authenticity commitment where an item is shown not to meet the standard described above.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Oregon, United States, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site, and continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
