I build scale models and cut a lot of foam board, and standard snap-off blades always left ragged edges because the blade couldn't reach deep enough. This solid blade extends fully and slices through 5mm foam board in one clean pass. Absolutely essential for my work.

Used these to cut through dense EVA foam for cosplay armor and they handled it well. The solid blade doesn't wobble or snap under pressure like segmented ones do. A couple of the blades dulled faster on the abrasive foam, but for the price of the pack that's acceptable.
