I do paper cut art and the 23-degree angle on these is noticeably finer than my old hobby blades. Cuts intricate curves in 140lb watercolor paper with zero tearing. The carbon steel holds an edge much longer than the generic packs I was buying monthly. A 5-pack at this price is a steal.

The tips are needle-fine and cut wonderfully, but I snapped two of the five on the first day by pressing slightly off-angle. They demand a light touch. Skilled hands will love them; clumsy beginners might go through the pack fast.

Blades are excellent — sharp, consistent, well-finished. But the five blades arrived loose in a tiny envelope with no blade holder or dispenser, so swapping them out was a bit dicey. Product itself: five stars. Packaging: three.
Bought these to replace the dull bulk-pack blades I'd been struggling with. What a difference! Clean cuts through cardstock layers, delicate die-cut look on my handmade cards, and the fine point gets into tight corners around embossed designs. My 12-year-old granddaughter even borrowed my knife for her school project and managed fine under supervision.
Out of the 5-pack, two blades had visible chips on the edge right out of the package. The other three work fine and cut well, but a 40% defect rate on a precision product is not acceptable. Might just be bad luck with the batch.
