OLFA QR-12S 12.5" Square Frosted Acrylic Quilting Ruler

The frosted finish is readable on dark fabric, which was always my frustration with clear rulers. Lines don't slip and the markings are crisp.

Accurate, non-slip, and a good size for trimming blocks up to 12 inches. It's a bit heavier than my old ruler but that actually helps it stay put.

I've been quilting for over twenty years and this is hands down the nicest square ruler I've used. The frosted acrylic means I can see my lines on batiks and dark prints without squinting under the lamp. The non-slip backing holds firm even when I'm cutting several layers. Half off made it a no-brainer purchase.

It cuts accurately and the frosted finish works as promised. But some of the finer grid lines are a little faint for my aging eyes. My daughter reads them fine, so maybe it's just me.

Readable on everything. Buy it.

Disappointed — one corner had a small chip out of the acrylic on arrival. Return process was easy, but I was really looking forward to using it that weekend. Ordering a replacement because I've heard good things.

I put off replacing my old scratched-up ruler for way too long. The frosted finish on this one is a game changer for fussy cutting and squaring up half-square triangles. The 12.5-inch size handles nearly all my block trimming needs.

Accurate cuts, clear markings, and it doesn't slide around on my cutting mat. Would have liked 1/16 inch markings for some precision work, but for 95% of quilting tasks it's perfect.
