OLFA RM-6x8-01 6" x 8" Green Double-Sided Self-Healing Rotary Mat

I keep this in my sewing bag for retreats and classes. It's the perfect size for trimming HSTs and small blocks, and the self-healing surface genuinely closes up after cuts. Two sides means double the lifespan. Can't beat it for $5.49.

It's little, so know what you're buying — 6x8 inches is trimming territory, not strip cutting. For that purpose it's excellent. Grid lines are clear and the mat doesn't slide around on my table.

Works as described and heals nicely, but there was a rubbery odor out of the box that took a few days to fade. Also wish the grid marks were on both sides. Fine value overall.

My fault for not checking the dimensions carefully, but 6x8 is really tiny for most of my projects. The mat itself seems well made and the healing works fine. Just make sure you read the measurements before ordering.
