The 24x36 size is exactly what I needed for working with yardage. Both sides are still smooth after months of heavy rotary cutting, and the navy color makes it easy to see light fabrics. The grid lines are crisp and haven't faded at all. At half price, this was an absolute steal.
Works great and heals nicely after every cut. It had a rubbery smell for the first few days but that went away. Would buy again.

The mat is high quality and self-heals well, but at this size it's quite heavy to move around my small craft room. I ended up leaving it on the table permanently. Cutting performance itself is excellent.
Now that I have time to quilt properly, I treated myself to this large OLFA mat. It lies perfectly flat right out of the box, no curling at the edges like my old cheap one. The double-sided feature doubles its lifespan, which matters at my age when I don't want to keep replacing things. My granddaughters and I use it together every weekend.
My fault for storing it in a warm garage over summer, but the mat developed a slight bow and doesn't sit completely flat anymore. Cuts are still accurate if I press it down. Quality is fine, just be careful where you keep it.
