The Opinel No.112 Paring Knife Box of 2 is the must-have kitchen knife in pairs: smooth 3.75-inch blades for chopping mushrooms, trimming fruit, and peeling apples for pie. At $13.00 for two knives – 50% off the $26 compare-at – this is the most affordable quality paring deal online. Coupon BENCH10 takes another 10% off.
Use a whetstone or honing rod at a consistent 15–20° angle, a few light strokes per side. The stainless steel takes a keen edge quickly.
Hand washing is recommended. The varnished beech handle resists moisture but dishwashers can crack wood and dull edges over time.
One for prep, one clean for finishing or serving – or share the set. Per knife, this box costs less than $6.50 each, beating most single-knife deals.
$13.00 vs. $26 compare-at = 50% off. Stack BENCH10 for 10% more. Free shipping over $45.

Sharp, comfortable beech handles, and at $13 for two I bought a set for my camper van too. These slice tomatoes thinner than I can manage with anything else.
The No.112 is a touch longer than the No.112's smaller siblings and I prefer it for length. Stainless steel means no patina maintenance, which suits me. Varnish on the handles seems durable after two months of dishwashing by hand. Would recommend to anyone starting a kitchen.
Sharp, cheap, lovely wood.
Both knives were reasonably sharp out of the box and the handles feel nice. They're doing their job, but one had a slightly loose-feeling blade. For the sale price I can't complain too much.
My mother had Opinel paring knives for forty years and when hers finally wore out I bought this two-pack to replace them. Same simple, honest quality. The blade length is just right for peeling and trimming, and the varnished beech still looks new after daily use. Some things shouldn't change, and thankfully Opinel hasn't.
My teenager pried a jar lid with one, fair enough, but I was surprised how easily the tip bent. Good cutters otherwise, just know they're lightweight users not pry bars.
Bought these for my daughter starting culinary school. Cheap enough to not stress about, good enough to actually learn knife skills on. Her instructor approved.
Nice heft, good steel, holds an edge through a week of heavy prep. The varnish gives decent water protection. Nothing fancy, exactly as advertised.
I've tried pricier paring knives and honestly these cut better out of the box. The two-pack means one is always clean. Great buy.
