The shears cut through chicken joints and herb stems without a wobble, and they come apart for cleaning which is a huge plus. The spreader is handy for bagels and soft cheese. Great little set.
Both pieces are well made and sharp. No complaints.
I've had these shears for about four months and they've broken down a lot of poultry and trimmed a lot of pastry without loosening. They separate for washing, which every pair of kitchen shears should do. The spreader is honestly more useful than I expected, great for mayo and nut butter. Only wish the shears had a nutcracker notch in the handle, but that's a nitpick at this price.
Both pieces do their jobs fine. The shears are sharp and the spreader is sturdy. But at the original $45 list price I'd expect a bit more, maybe a sharpening notch or better handle grip. At half price it's fair.

Mine arrived with a pivot that's really tight, so opening and closing takes real hand effort. Maybe it loosens over time but after a few weeks it hasn't much. The spreader is fine. For someone with smaller hands or arthritis, I can't recommend these shears.
