OLFA RB45H-1 45mm Endurance Tungsten Steel Rotary Blade, 1 or 2 Pack

I keep a cutting log (yes, I'm that quilter) and my standard blades needed replacing every 6 weeks. This Endurance blade just hit 12 weeks and still cuts like day one. Worth it.

Bought the 2-pack on sale and gave one to my quilting sister. Both of us are amazed at how long these hold their edge through layers of cotton and batting.

Noticeably longer lasting than the standard OLFA blade. Cuts cleanly through 6 layers of fabric. Only complaint is I wish the regular price was closer to the sale price.

The worst is hitting a dull spot halfway through cutting a quilt top. With this blade I just don't have that problem anymore. Smooth from the first cut to the last.

Fits my RTY-2 perfectly and cuts like a dream.

It's a good blade and lasted maybe 50% longer for me rather than the full 2x. Still sharp and reliable, and the sale price made it reasonable. I'll use it again but keep expectations measured.

Disappointed—my blade had a visible nick out of the box and skipped on every third cut. Customer service sent a replacement quickly and the new one cuts beautifully, so I'm bumping this up from one star. Just check yours carefully on arrival.
