Picked the blue Colorama and it gets compliments every time it comes out. Same trusted No. 8 platform underneath — sharp Sandvik steel, reliable Virobloc lock — just with a fun painted hornbeam handle. The leather strap makes it easy to clip to a bag. Eleven dollars and fifty cents for this? Steal.
One for the junk drawer, one for the hiking pack, one clipped to my purse with the strap. They slice fruit, open packages, and trim plants without complaint. The paint has chipped slightly at the lanyard hole on the oldest one after a year, which I consider earned character.

Functionally it's a five-star No. 8 — no complaints on steel or lock. But the painted finish on my green one started wearing at the bolsters within the first month of pocket carry, faster than I expected for the price. If you want a workhorse, get the plain beech; if you want color and can accept wear, this is fine.
Gave the coral one to my niece for her first hiking trip and she carries it constantly. The strap on a carabiner was her idea and it works great. Leather strap quality is decent, not luxurious. Everyone happy.
There's no reason a tool can't be cheerful. The yellow handle makes me smile when I pull it out for apples at lunch or cutting twine in the garage. Blade came scary sharp. The Virobloc is foolproof. At this sale price I might grab the whole rainbow.
