The Gourmet line is stamped rather than forged, and you can sort of tell in the weight, but performance is excellent. Clean slices on prime rib, fork tines are sharp enough to grip. Happy with the purchase.

Slice quality is great and the set looks classy on the counter. It needed a touch-up on my whetstone after about a dozen uses, which is normal for stamped knives. Would buy again.

I'm not a knife snob but even I can tell these are quality. The carving knife handles my weekly rotisserie chickens and the fork is handy for turning roasts in the pan too. Storage sleeve would be nice, hence four stars.
