Perfect for foraging season

The curved blade cleans chanterelles beautifully and the brush gets the dirt off right in the field. The toothed back cuts through tough stems. Feels like a proper traditional French foraging tool because it is one.

Nice knife, brush could be denser

The blade shape is ideal for slicing mushrooms without bruising them and it folds safely into the beechwood handle. I wish the brush were a bit fuller, but it does the job. Happy overall.

Blade arrived dull and stiff hinge

Mine came out of the box fairly dull and the folding hinge was stiff to open. I sharpened it myself and oiled the hinge so it's usable now, but for the money I expected better. The brush and handle are genuinely nice though.
