Great base, grain was a bit plain

Solid Opinel action and the stainless blade is classic No.08 quality. The maple blank arrived sanded fairly smooth, which made my custom grip work easier than expected. Only gripe: the grain on mine was pretty bland compared to photos, so my pyrography design had to do the heavy lifting. Still very happy.
