The blade quality is genuinely excellent for the money. My only complaint is the rotating collar lock — it takes two hands to operate quickly, which is annoying when your hands are full of fruit. Fine for slow work though.

My blade had a very slight bend out of the box and the lock ring was stiff to the point of being hard to turn. Customer service is helping, but for a tool at any price I expected better fit and finish. May have just been a lemon.
